Terms & Conditions – Badlapur Study Centre & Co-working Space
By registering for or using the facilities and services of Badlapur Study Centre & Co-working Space, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Membership & Payment
- Membership is valid only for the period mentioned at the time of registration.
- Membership fees must be paid in full as per the selected plan.
- Membership is personal and cannot be transferred to another person without prior permission from the management.
- The centre reserves the right to refuse or cancel a membership in case of misuse of the facilities or violation of these terms.
2. No Refund Policy
- Membership fees, registration fees and payments made for the services are non-refundable once the membership has been activated, except where a refund is required under applicable law.
- If a member stops using the centre before the membership expiry date, no refund or adjustment will normally be provided for the unused period.
- Temporary absence, holidays, personal reasons, examinations, travel or any other reason for non-use will not automatically extend the membership period.
3. Seat & Seating Policy
- Reserved-seat members may use only the seat assigned to them.
- Unreserved members may use available seating as permitted by the centre.
- The management may change or reassign seating when necessary due to maintenance, operational requirements or other circumstances.
- Members must not occupy another member’s reserved seat.
4. Personal Belongings
- Members are responsible for their own mobile phones, laptops, books, bags, wallets, documents, cash and other personal belongings.
- Members should not leave valuable belongings unattended.
- Badlapur Study Centre & Co-working Space will not be responsible for loss, theft, damage or misplacement of personal belongings, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
- Members are advised to keep their belongings safely with them or use designated storage facilities where available.
5. Behaviour & Discipline
Members are expected to maintain a peaceful and respectful environment.
The following are not permitted:
- Disturbing other members.
- Loud conversations or unnecessary noise.
- Misuse or damage of furniture, equipment or centre property.
- Fighting, abusive behaviour or harassment.
- Smoking, alcohol or illegal substances inside the premises.
- Any illegal or inappropriate activity.
- Sharing membership access with another person.
The management may suspend or terminate a membership for serious or repeated violations.
6. Mobile Phones & Noise
Members should keep their mobile phones on silent mode and avoid conversations that disturb other members.
For longer conversations or calls, members should use the designated area where available.
7. Centre Property
- Members are responsible for any damage caused by them to the centre’s furniture, equipment or other property.
- The management may recover reasonable repair or replacement costs for damage caused intentionally or through negligence.
8. Timings
- Members must use the centre only during their permitted membership/batch timings.
- Members must leave the premises at the end of their permitted time.
- Centre timings may be changed by management when required. Reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.
9. Internet & Facilities
- Wi-Fi and other facilities are provided for reasonable educational and professional use.
- Members must not use the internet connection for illegal activities, hacking, downloading illegal content or any activity that may cause harm to the network or other users.
- The centre cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of internet, electricity, air conditioning or other facilities in case of technical problems, maintenance or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
10. Cleanliness
Members must maintain cleanliness and use the centre’s facilities responsibly.
Food and beverages should be consumed only in designated areas, wherever such areas are provided.
11. Photography, CCTV & Security
- CCTV may be installed in common areas of the premises for safety and security purposes.
- Members must follow reasonable security procedures implemented by the centre.
- Members must not interfere with CCTV, access-control systems, locks or other security equipment.
12. Membership Cancellation / Termination
The management reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership in case of:
- Misconduct
- Damage to property
- Sharing of membership/access credentials
- Illegal activity
- Repeated disturbance to other members
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions
Any refund, if applicable, will be handled in accordance with the applicable refund policy and law.
13. Changes to Terms
Badlapur Study Centre & Co-working Space may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms may be published on the website or communicated to members.
14. Acceptance
By registering for membership, making payment, or using the facilities of Badlapur Study Centre & Co-working Space, the member confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
15. Consent for Student Stories, Name & Promotional Content
- From time to time, Badlapur Study Centre & Co-working Space may publish stories about students and members, including their name, educational journey, background, achievements, experiences, photographs, testimonials and other information voluntarily provided by them.
- Such stories may be published on the centre’s website, blog, social media pages, promotional materials and other marketing channels for informational, inspirational and promotional purposes.
- By providing information and giving consent, the member permits Badlapur Study Centre & Co-working Space to edit, format and publish the submitted story or information while making reasonable efforts to preserve its intended meaning.
- Participation in student stories, testimonials or promotional content is voluntary and is not a condition for obtaining or continuing membership.
- The member may request that their story or promotional content be removed from future publication. However, the centre cannot guarantee removal of copies that may already have been shared, downloaded, reposted or published by third parties.
- For students below 18 years of age, consent must be obtained from a parent or legal guardian before publishing the student’s name, photograph, story, testimonial or other personally identifiable information.
